Oliver Joseph Lodge

Sir Oliver Joseph Lodge (12 de junio de 1851 - 22 de agosto de 1940), nació en Penkhull cerca de Stoke-on-Trent, fue un físico y escritor envuelto en el desarrollo de la telegrafía sin hilos. Fue la primera persona en transmitir una señal de radio (en 1894, un año antes que Guillermo Marconi hiciera lo propio), y recibió reconocimiento internacional por su trabajo.
